Oscar & Derek

Meet Derek & Oscar, the perfect opposites who complete each other. Both 1 year old, they’ve been through a lot, but their bond is unbreakable.

Derek was rescued from an abandoned yard, initially just to be neutered. After he was returned, he became weak and was diagnosed with haemobartonella and later underwent surgery for an omphalocele. With so many health scares behind him, it was clear he couldn’t return and we decided to take him in. He’s shy, needs safe hiding spots, but once he trusts you, he adores gentle pets and purrs like a tractor.

Oscar came from a dangerous colony next to busy roads, where cats used to ‘vanish’. He is sweet, confident and the goofiest little guy. He’s now Derek’s best friend and emotional support. He comforts him after every vet trip, encourages him to play, and helps him feel safe.

They’re fostered together and are looking for a home as a pair. Derek needs a calm, understanding home and patient human; Oscar will keep everyone entertained and fill your house with love!
