Aliki, a lady cat from the streets of Athens was part of a colony in the Plaka area of Athens that Nine Lives Greece monitors and helps. A fellow animal welfare worker, realizing that the cat was so delicate that she needed indoor care, brought Aliki to a cat/artist’s residence in Berlin. Unfortunately, this dear, sweet cat lasted only about 3 months before succumbing to Chronic Kidney Disease.
