Luke and Leia are a bonded pair who came to NineLives Greece together. Luke was spotted injured next to a busy street in Athens, and while we were trying to trap him, we trapped his friend Leia accidentally. When he was finally trapped and taken to the vet, apart from his injured leg, he was diagnosed with hiatus hernia. He was one of the lucky ones and he survived this difficult operation. Leia kept him company while he stayed in the crate in order to recover and they became inseparable. They are both reserved and shy, and they need time to trust humans. Leia is about 2 years old and Luke is about 4. They sleep curled up next to each other and they lick each other clean. They are of course vaccinated, FIV/FeLV negative, sterilized and parasite free, and they will be given to responsible humans microchipped along with an adoption form. If there is a balcony, it has to be netted.
