Kardia

A tabby cat with a damaged eye lies with with its feathered toys

Little Kardia (Heart), a cat with a damaged eye, was found at Ippokrateio hospital in Athens. For days she avoided the cats who were living there permanently as they didn’t recognize her as one of their own. Her skinny body was covered with flea bites and her belly was swollen with worms. Now her fur is shiny and she has so much energy that she acts like Dennis the Menace, running around like crazy, jumping over “obstacles”, etc. She is playful and bossy towards other cats and kittens. She’s quite affectionate with humans and she purrs constantly while enjoying our cuddles.

Kardia is 7 months old now, already spayed, vaccinated and parasite free and will be given to responsible humans as an indoor cat. We will provide her with a microchip. If Kardia’s new home has a balcony, it must to be secured with a net.
